How we work with a family
Every one of our projects has an independent licence with its number, duration and target amount published on its own page. The articles of association, the financial statements and the board are disclosed on the governance page so every donor and beneficiary can see what is spent and how it is managed.
Renovating the homes of low-income families, social security beneficiaries, widows and divorced women so they are safe and fit to live in, and servicing or replacing air-conditioning units for families in need before the heat sets in.
The water supply project delivers clean drinking water to families in need and to residents of villages and remote areas in the governorate, reducing their reliance on unsafe or costly sources.
Courses for job seekers in workplace skills, CV writing and interviews; programs to develop the study skills of school and university students; and the Zakat of Knowledge initiative of free courses.
Helping productive families develop, package and market their products, and opening sales channels that carry the product to the customer, raising household income and building financial independence.
"A Touch of Loyalty for the Elderly" — visits, care packages and psychological and social support — and helping eligible couples about to marry to start their families.
The Mahd Folk Festival, which keeps local heritage alive, gives productive families and artisans a place to sell, and stimulates economic activity in the governorate.
