Your zakat to its lawful recipients
Zakat is a pillar of Islam and a known right upon wealth, with recipients defined in Sharia. Al-Mahd Humanitarian Services Association is a non-profit licensed by the National Center for Non-Profit Sector Development under number 1000598500, supervised by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. It receives zakat and disburses it to those entitled among the people of Mahd Governorate in the Madinah Region.
Zakat receipts are kept separate from general donations and are never spent on the association's administrative or operating costs. They go directly to eligible families, after each case is studied and its entitlement verified.
Who receives your zakat through us?
Families in need, social security beneficiaries, widows and divorced women, and those on low incomes among the governorate's people — after need is verified against criteria published on each project's page.
How is entitlement verified?
The applicant submits a documented request with their details and papers; the association's team then reviews it and ranks cases by priority of need before disbursing.
Can zakat be directed to a specific project?
Yes. You may choose from the licensed projects in which zakat may lawfully be spent, and you will see how much of that project's target has been raised.
Where can I see the disclosures?
The financial statements, the articles of association and the composition of the board are published on the governance page, and any donor may review them at any time.
