A licensed and accredited association
Al-Mahd Humanitarian Services Association is officially licensed by the National Center for Non-Profit Sector Development, under the supervision of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
What the board does
The board is responsible for setting the association's policies and overseeing their delivery. It is elected by the general assembly under Chapter Four of Part Two of the articles of association.
The board is serving its first term, 2024–2028. It meets regularly to approve plans and budgets, monitor the performance of the licensed programs, and verify that spending is disciplined.
Setting policy
Approving the association's strategy, its operating plans and its annual budget.
Financial oversight
Monitoring resources and spending, and approving the financial statements before they are published.
Programme oversight
Following the delivery of licensed projects and measuring their effect on the people served.
Accountability
Reporting to the general assembly and to the National Center for Non-Profit Sector Development.
