Al-Mahd Humanitarian Services Association is officially licensed by the National Center for Non-Profit Sector Development, under the supervision of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
What the articles contain
The articles are the constitution governing the association's work. They were approved on 06/11/1445 AH and run to 28 pages across five parts and thirteen chapters, covering everything from the association's definition and objectives to the rules for dissolving it and dealing with its funds.
They are issued under the Law of Associations and Non-Profit Foundations, its implementing regulations, and the governance rules of the National Center for Non-Profit Sector Development, which supervises the association under licence number 1000598500.
Part One — definitions, founding and objectives
Sets out the legal terms, the association's founding details and geographic scope, then the objectives and purposes it is licensed to pursue.
Part Two — administration and membership
Governs the administrative structure, the rules and conditions of membership, the general assembly and its powers, the board, standing and temporary committees, the executive officer, and the establishment of branches and offices.
Part Three — financial regulation
Sets out the association's resources and financial year, then financial affairs, the budget, and the rules for spending and financial oversight.
Part Four — amendment and dissolution
Explains how the articles may be amended, the circumstances in which the association may be dissolved, and what becomes of its funds and assets.
Part Five — general provisions
Closing provisions covering anything not specifically addressed, referring otherwise to the law and its implementing regulations.
