iIntroduction

Please read these terms carefully before using the site or registering for any programme or service. Using the site, or registering for any of the association's programs, constitutes your express agreement to these terms.

These terms apply to: the association's website, its programme registration forms, its volunteering forms, its contact forms, and every digital service it provides.

If you do not agree to any of these terms, please refrain from using the site or registering for its programs.

1General terms of use

You may use this site for personal, non-commercial purposes connected with the association's services and programs. In doing so you agree to the following:

• providing accurate, truthful information when registering or contacting the association
• refraining from any use that harms the association, its users or its reputation
• not attempting unauthorised access to the site's systems or its databases
• refraining from publishing or circulating any content that breaches Saudi law or Islamic propriety
• not impersonating the association, its staff or its officers
• refraining from any activity that might disrupt the site or overload its servers

2Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, images, designs, logos, teaching materials and programme content — is the exclusive property of Al-Mahd Humanitarian Services Association or of their licensed owners, and are protected by the copyright and intellectual property laws in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The following are expressly prohibited:

• copying or republishing any content from the site for commercial purposes without the association's prior written permission
• using the association's logo or visual identity for any unapproved purpose
• redistributing the association's training or teaching materials without permission

3Registration for programs and initiatives

Your registration for the association's programs is subject to the following terms:

• Eligibility: The association sets the eligibility conditions for each programme (age, gender, qualification, geographic area and so on) and may accept or refuse applications on that basis without giving reasons
• Accuracy of information: Responsibility for the accuracy of the details entered at registration rests entirely with the applicant. Submitting false information leads to immediate exclusion
• Attendance: Participants must keep to the schedules and times set for the programs. Unexplained absence may lead to the registration being cancelled and to exclusion from future programs
• Proper conduct: Participants behave courteously and show respect to trainers and to fellow participants throughout the programme
• Certificates and records: Completion certificates are issued only to those who meet the attendance rate and the conditions set for each programme
• Cancellation: The association reserves the right to cancel or change a programme, giving those registered advance notice

4Volunteering

Registering as a volunteer with the association is subject to these additional conditions:

• Volunteering is unpaid unless an approved volunteering agreement expressly states otherwise
• Volunteers follow the association's internal policies and the instructions of their direct supervisors
• Volunteers may not speak to the media on the association's behalf without prior authorisation
• Volunteering certificates are issued according to the approved hours recorded in the association's registers
• The association may end the volunteering of anyone who does not meet the required standards of conduct or performance

5Liability and warranties

Website disclaimer:

This site is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, as to its continuity or its freedom from error. The association is not responsible for:

• any interruption or temporary suspension of the site's services for technical reasons beyond its control
• any content on external sites linked from this one
• any harm arising from relying on information on the site without checking it against its official sources

Limits of liability:

In no case does the association's liability exceed the fees or payments actually made to it for the service in dispute.

6 Changes to the terms and suspension of service

The association reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Users will be told of any material change by a prominent notice on the site or by email to their registered address.

Continuing to use the site or the programs after an amendment is published constitutes your implied acceptance of the amended terms.

The association also reserves the right to suspend the site, or to stop some of its services temporarily or permanently, for technical or regulatory reasons, giving as much notice as it can.

7Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the provisions of Islamic Sharia and the laws and regulations in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Should any dispute arise over these terms or over the use of the site or the programs, the association will first seek to settle it amicably. Failing that, the dispute goes to the competent judicial authorities in Mahd Governorate — the civil district.
